Have you ever wanted to learn how to make pottery or get a refresher? In this class
you will learn how to throw mugs, cups, vases, bowls, and more. You'll get instruction
time and individual practice time. An instructor will be on hand for any questions
you might have. At the end of this class, you will get to glaze all your pieces as
well! Everything about beginning pottery will be covered in 6 two-hour class periods.
No experience needed, you just need to show up in clothes that you don't mind getting clay on. Clay is washable. It’s recommend not wearing any jewelry or watches, wear sleeves you can roll up, and trim your nails.

Fresh cut flowers are a simple joy that brightens any day. Improve on "great" with a vase you made on the potter's wheel. This class is designed as a potter's delight. Learn how to use potter's wheel to create your very own vases perfect for any table. All pots will be fired using a variety of glazes for your artistic palette.

Begin with an introduction to sawing, drilling, stamping, and texturing then design your own charms, earrings, and pendant. Design in copper and learn to color your metal through patina. Lots of time to work and individualized attention.

In this four-hour workshop, attendees will learn about the basics of indigo dyeing natural materials like cotton, wool, silk, and linen. Shibori techniques will be introduced to the group, along with setting up different kinds of indigo vats. Materials will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring some small pieces of fabric or yarn in to experiment with. No previous indigo dyeing experience is needed to participate.

The potter's wheel doesn't have to be scary. What are you afraid of... a little mud, learning something new... In this class, students will learn how to throw on the potter's wheel to make a variety of forms perfect for cups and mugs. Hand building will also be addressed as well as making thoughtful handles. Choose a painterly technique with bright, juicy color and layers or narrative approach by incorporating drawn imagery and texture. Suitable for 2-D artists of all variety, book artists, metalsmiths, and sculptors; enameling is a wildly diverse medium for every maker. Design your own shapes in workshop the metal maven workshop or I provide an assortment of blanks to work on.

Let's celebrate and create one-of-a-kind ornament sets for your collection. In this ceramic workshop, students will learn how to roll clay slabs, cut out shapes, and then add details and textures to their ornaments. A variety of shapes will be available, and students will be able to create 3-5 ornament sets. All ornaments will be fired using a variety of glazes for your artistic palette.
