National Printmaking Invitational

West Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) will host its first National Printmaking Invitational featuring the artwork of artists from across the country. The exhibition opens with a free community reception November 16 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Bill Ford Gallery at PSAD’s 2D and Graphic Design Building at 905 Harrison Street in Paducah’s Lower Town Arts District.

Exhibiting artists are James Ehlers, Emporia, Kan.; Katie Baldwin, Huntsville, Ala.; Matthew Hopson-Walker, Mobile, Ala.; Michael Barnes, Dekalb, Ill.; Scott Stephens, Vestavia, Ala.; Aaron Coleman, Tuscon, Ariz.; Nicole Hand, Murray, Ky.; Jason Urban, Austin, Texas; Lise Drost, Miami, Fla.; Jayne Reid Jackson, Madison, Wis.; and Matthew McLaughlin, Greenbelt, Md. The exhibition was curated by Michael Crouse, retired professor emeritus of art, University of Alabama-Huntsville and Erich Neitzke, PSAD adjunct instructor of art.

The invitational artwork will remain on display in the Bill Ford Gallery through December 13.
