Shannon Duffy is a metalsmith and adjunct instructor at PSAD where she teaches classes in jewelry making and small metals. Shannon has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Murray State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University. Her teaching experience includes Murray State University, where she taught within the studio arts and the art education programs, as well as Appalachian Center for Crafts. Exhibitions of her work have been presented at galleries and institutions in Lexington, KY; Ashville, NC; Greensboro, NC; and Tempe, AZ; among other locations, and her work has been recognized through grants from the Kentucky Foundation for Women, as well as the North Carolina Arts Council.
